  • Symphonic Band

    UWF’s Symphonic Band provide our students with a world-class musical experiences by playing the best repertoire for the wind band at the highest levels. The Symphonic Band—UWF’s premier wind ensemble—meets both Fall and Spring Semesters. Admission into the ensemble is by audition. Students have the option to take these courses for 1 credit or for 0 credit.

  • Marching Band, Basketball Band, & Color Guard

    The Argo Marching Band and Basketball Band provide the soundtrack to student life at UWF. On game days, student rallies, and special events, our large and growing athletic bands bring the infectious energy and power! Students in the Argo Marching Band receive annual significant scholarships for their time and talent. Students have the option to take these courses for 1 credit or for 0 credit.

  • Chamber & Studio Ensembles

    Chamber and Studio Ensembles at UWF allow students to take their technique to higher levels of excellence, perform genre-specific literature, and form a personal aesthetic connection with the audience. In these ensembles, every player must have the ability to blend and be a soloist at once. These ensembles are the ultimate musical learning lab where fun is always on the program!
